Rosa Gonzalez Ph., D.

Dr. Rosa Gonzalez is President and Principal Engineer of RGonzalez Consulting Inc. She administrates the day-to-day operation of the company including business and financial operations, strategic planning, capital expenditure, and coordination with potential consultants. She holds a B.S. and M.E. in Nuclear Engineering Sciences from University of Florida, and a Ph.D. in Engineering Management from Southwest University.

Dr. Gonzalez was born and raised in Cuba and came to the United States where she learned English and Engineering at the same time to become the first Latina to earn a B.S in Nuclear Engineering in the U.S.

Dr. Gonzalez has extensive experience in Project Management and Regulatory Compliance and Monitoring of all scientific programs, which include environment, safety and health, emergency management, radiation protection, health physics, biological weapons, and nuclear facility operation. She taught for twelve years at the Florida International University in the Mechanical Engineering Department developing curriculum and lesson plans for thermodynamics, energy systems, fluid flow, heat transfer, strength of materials, etc.

Dr. Gonzalez has provided support and expertise in the development, implementation, and management of programs to ensure compliance with contractual obligations for emergency management, radiation protection, management assessment, radiation protection laboratory's quality assurance and quality control, training, radiological and nonradiological hazards and consequences assessment, and waste management. She acted as key liaison with federal, state, and local officials to ensure compliance with Department of Energy (DOE), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC).

Dr. Gonzalez was appointed Chair of the Department of Energy (DOE) Training Resources and Data Exchange (TRADE) Emergency Management Issues Special Group, a nationwide activity, and held this position for five years. Her expertise has been critical in the planning and execution of DOE Conferences including the positions of Conference Chair, Workshop Facilitator, and Conference Presenter

Dr. Gonzalez served as the Corporate Technical Advisor for the Florida Power and Light Company (FPL), responsible for the development of and all training programs specifically related to safety analysis, mitigating core damage, consequence assessments, and emergency response for nuclear power plants. She participated in the Florida Power & Light, St. Lucie Nuclear power plant Unit 2 commissioning.

Dr. Gonzalez has authored several publications including: Statistical Analysis of Neutron Activation and Nuclear Plant Operations Training Program/Study of Human Factors. She continues to serve on many committees and advisory boards in academic, non-for profits, and local governmental agencies, currently serving on the Erie County Environmental Management Council.

The City of Buffalo, Common Council, New York State Assembly, United State Congress, and the State University of New York (SUNY), Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers have recognized Rosa for her time and efforts donated to the Western New York community and for her attempts to enlighten and inspire the young Latino Community of the next generation. In addition, Rosa has received several awards, locally and nationwide including: SUNY Outstanding Woman of the Year in Engineering; DOE TRADE, Service Recognition Award; the ZONTA Yellow Rose Award; and the Erie County Leadership Award.

Michael Murphy

Certified Safety Professional

Michael Murphy has more than thirty years of experience in designing, implementing and directing environmental safety and occupational safety and health programs. He has a baccalaureate degree focused on the natural and biological sciences with a minor in safety studies. Mr. Murphy has earned accreditation as a certified safety professional, certified hazardous materials manager, certified healthcare safety professional and as a registered biological safety professional. He maintains credentialing as an instructor for OSHA outreach training programs (10-hr and 30-hr) for construction industry and general industry as well as an instructor of First Aid/CPR/AED under the approval of the American Red Cross. In addition to maintaining an active practice in industrial and construction safety and industrial hygiene, Mr. Murphy is a safety course instructor in the corporate training division of Niagara County Community College where he teaches asbestos worker, asbestos supervisor, asbestos inspector, asbestos management planner and asbestos project monitor courses as well as courses in HAZWOPER, confined space, respiratory protection, construction safety and general industry safety among other subjects.

Additionally, Mr. Murphy has an equal amount of experience in designing, commissioning, troubleshooting, testing, adjusting and balancing of mechanical ventilation systems in institutional environments to include laboratories, healthcare institutions, educational institutions, public offices and as well in commercial and industrial occupancies. He has maintained a career-long focus on airborne contamination control to include design, construction, commissioning and certification of clean rooms and application, maintenance and certification of clean benches, vertical laminar airflow biological safety cabinets and chemical fume hood systems.

Michael resides in rural Colden, New York with Suzanne, his wife and, in his personal time, enjoys outdoor activities and working with his hands.

Juan Pablo Rojas - Graphic Designer

Juan Pablo Rojas, a Graphic Designer arrived to Buffalo from Colombia 5 years ago. He earned his Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design from the Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano in Bogota Colombia A decade ago. He has been working in Graphic Design, Website Design and CADD Design.

Since he came, he earned an AOS in Information Technology from Bryant & Stratton. He is currently Studying at ITT Technical Institute for his degree in CADD Drafting and Design. HIs current GPA is 4.0

Juan is a very dedicate person , very assertive, creative and resourceful; proof of this is his success in companies such as Systems & Engineers, PC., Clientlogic, Lenahan Law Office, The Talking Phone Book and Shop Latino TV, in Florida, among others. Juan is now in Miami Florida, the Sunshine state where he is enterpeneuring for RGC Engineers with Alex, Rosa's brother.

Juan Joined RGC Engineers team for all purposes, currently he is webmastering the website and focused on any 2D-3D CADD related projects. Additionally, Juan has been working with many companies in Doral and Miramar. His main working focus is in Graphic Design, Multimedia , and CAD drafting.

Juan is a very creative, assertive and objective person, always thinking outside the box ti have a clear and concide idea of the concept that is intended and achieve a goal.
